§ 2-348. Meetings; chairperson.

  • The time and place for the initial meeting of the board shall be established by the county judge through written notification of each board member. At its initial meeting of a quorum of members, the board shall elect one of their members to serve as chairperson of the board for a term of one year. The board shall by rule provide for the date, time and place of regular monthly meetings or other regularly scheduled meetings. This information shall be filed with the county court, and notification of all meetings shall be conducted as established by law for public meetings. The board may select a vice-chair and such other officers as it may require.
