§ 54-56. Definitions.

  • The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

    Arterial road means the same as defined in the county road plan.

    Collector road means the same as defined in the county road plan.

    Local road means the same as defined in the county road plan.

    Manmade structure means anything constructed or erected, the use of which requires a permanent location on the ground or attached to something having a permanent location on the ground, including, but not limited to, advertising signs, billboards and similar structures, but excluding portable animal shelters, portable storage buildings, cattle guards, traffic control signs and usual farm fences built of wire and posts.

    Setback means the area in which the construction of all manmade structures is prohibited.
