§ 58-104. Planning requirements.

  • Under this article, the county planning board shall adopt regulations requiring:

    (1)

    House address numbers to be installed on or near any new house or business. These numbers will be clearly visible from the road so that an emergency response vehicle can readily identify the location of that particular house or business. The quorum court also recommends such installation on or near current structures.

    (2)

    No plat shall be accepted for review or approval by the county planning board without the review of the 911 administrative board's MSAG administrator who will ensure that the road names and address assignments conform with the MSAG and atlas.

    (3)

    No subdivisions shall be approved without the inclusion of street signs conforming with the 911 guidelines.
